Hey guys,
We advertised to you a few weeks ago that we would be taking part in the Branded Heritage pop-up shop at 26 Camden High Street inside Collective, which was ultimately in aid of:
- Supporting British independent brands
- Supporting F.A.D Charity
Well..it's happened! We have chronicled our week's progress through our Twitter and Instagram feeds (see footer of our website for links).
Overseen by international fashion entrepreneur Donna C Llewellyn, opportunities for up and coming brands such as Iris (lingerie), Little Dreams (baby accessories) and ourselves Labels Are Limitations™ were given! With the high street fashion industry becoming quite generic, it was important to remember the independents such as ourselves as we are the ones who continue to champion the Made In Britain ethos.
So who are F.A.D? F.A.D are a London-based creative charity who support young people in bridging the gap between education and the fashion industry. They run various workshops which feature giving 13-25yrs olds a realistic insight into what it takes to succeed in the industry!
The Branded Heritage pop-up opened with it's launch party on the 18th August 2014 and below is a few of the opening night's shots!
It was a fantastic night. Not only did we manage to network with many people, including buyers, PR professionals and journalists; but we also had the chance to celebrate our pop-ups along with family and friends! We even closed a few sales that night which was an added bonus considering we were outside of pop-up shop opening hours.
Post the brilliant opening night of our pop-up; we enjoyed a great week in which we introduced so many individuals - local and travelling - to Labels Are Limitations™ - our ethos and the quality of our clothing and designs! Labels Are Limitations™ is the brand that anyone can relate to in one way or another!
It was our first time doing a pop-up and bigger still - it was our first time selling in Camden as we were used to selling in the Notting Hill and Spitalfields (Shoreditch) locations. We have always been selling online, and continue to do so here.
So, our opinion on Branded Heritage: well, we've exhausted some of the superlatives used earlier in our blog, but we will reuse this one - fantastic! Donna did a great job and will continue to do so with the many independent brands she continues to work with. We are grateful to have been one of these brands!
We will keep you up to date with what is coming next for Labels Are Limitations™ including our Autumn/Winter 2014 collection which will be coming soon!
Thanks for reading!
L.A.L™
